Ever, ever, ever," the ballerina captioned the post.</p> <p>The comment section was flooded with well-wishes and congratulations for the newly weds. The wedding photos were taken by Bayleigh Vedelago.</p> <p>Gillespie and Stephensen welcomed twin daughters Lulu and Lottie in September 2020 and announced their engagement in April that year.</p> <p>Gillespie and Stephensen met when The Australian Ballet began recording a DVD with The Wiggles.</p> <p><em>Images: Instagram</em></p>

Lachie Gill responds to backlash after winning The Voice

<p>The Voice was slammed by backlash this week, with many implying that the winner, Lachie Gill, won the singing contest due to his white privilege.</p> <p>Lachie was crowned the winner on Sunday night, with the 24-year-old walking away with a Universal Music Australia recording contract and $100,000 prize money.</p> <p>He was competing against Faith Sosene from Team Jess, Team Guy’s Jordan Tavita and Team Keith’s Thando Sikwil, who are all “people of colour”.</p> <p><a href="https://www.oversixty.com.au/news/news/that-s-rigged-fans-react-with-fury-after-voice-winner-revealed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fans on social media didn’t hold back</a>, with many saying Lachie had the “weakest voice” but came out on top due to being the “only white person” in the final.</p> <p>Runner-up Faith even weighed in on the controversy when congratulating Lachie, writing: “We already knew Australia was gonna love &amp; pick you! You’re simply perfect for them.” Later altering the caption to say “you’re simply perfect.”</p> <p>As a nod to her other finalists, she added that Thando, Jordan and herself will have to “work harder for our future generations to win. <p>Dana Stephensen and Lachy Gillespie have shared an adorable new pic of their newborn twins, along with a heartfelt update on life with their two new additions.</p> <p>Dana took to Instagram to share the stunning shot by photographer<a rel="noopener" href="https://www.instagram.com/bridgetwoodphotography/" target="_blank"> Bridget Wood</a>, which showed her and her famous partner cradling their new arrivals.</p> <p>"It was so precious to stop and breathe in these moments and to now have such special photographs before life with twins really took off," she wrote in a caption.</p> <blockquote style="background: #FFF; The Wiggles' marriage split: This is why Lachlan Gillespie and Emma Watkins aren't together anymore

<p>Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie has shared a few words about the turmoil between himself and former partner Emma Watkins.</p> <p>Gillespie broke his silence on the ABC’s <em>Australian Story</em>, a short time after the pair announced their seemingly amicable split last month.</p> <p>Watkins, who is currently the yellow Wiggle, revealed to <em><a rel="noopener" href="https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/sydney-confidential/purple-wiggle-lachlan-gillespie-reveals-relationship-friction-came-from-work-pressures/news-story/f8dad38ea2f6ef6b4188d1ca32d09f10" target="_blank">The Daily Telegraph</a></em> that she was the one that initiated the split but also went on to clarify that there was no sense of hostility between the pair, but Gillespie believes otherwise.</p> <p>“We’re very different, Emma and I. We’re very … I think I’m the more romantic one. She’s very much down the line and she just … she’s got her own way of doing things,” Gillespie said on Monday night’s episode.</p> <p>“It’s not easy spending that much time together with the pressure of work, too.</p> <p>“I think it has gone through ups and downs. There’s not a lot of time in between to spend together outside Wiggles.</p> <p>“It has all been all-consuming, and that’s been a tricky thing to get right, I suppose.”</p> <p>Watkins – whose rise as the yellow Wiggle has made her a fan favourite – had only good things to say about her ex-husband.</p> <p>“Lachy has been so supportive, and I really can’t thank him enough in all of this,” Watkins said.</p> <p>“We started to spend more time with our families, and that started to become quite a priority for us. I think there was a realisation that romantically it just wasn’t going the way that our friendship was going.</p> <p>“I think we decided to part our ways quite organically over the course of about eight months. It was a mutual decision and we wanted to wait until the end of the year and then try and work out a way to make a statement to our fans.”</p> <p>The couple decided to make a public statement regarding their separation.</p> <p>“When the media first called I think initially I thought, ‘Oh no – they don’t really know what’s going on,'” said Watkins.</p> <p>“And then as the hours kept going by I kept getting more calls and I thought, ‘Oh, OK – I think people know more than we thought they did.'”</p>
